Teach4ME-207 Virtual Summer Conference for Special Educators & Paraprofessionals August 16 & 17, 2022 8:30am-2:45pm
Our conference will be held virtually with an opportunity for social networking, resource materials, and professional growth. Day 1 is designed for all special educators and paraprofessionals with keynote by Dr. Paige Fournier, multiple self-selected breakout sessions throughout the day, and an end-of-day presentation by Maine Department of Education, Office of Special Services Team. Day 2 is customized for special education teachers with 5 years or less of teaching experience focusing on 3 priority topics with large group presentations followed by facilitated breakout sessions and an end-of-day presentation overview of Maine's Special Educator Engagement, Development and Support (SEEDS) program. Day 2 will also serve as a kick-off to a year-long professional development and collegiality series during the 2022-2023 school year for new special education teachers.
