Join Amanda Wilson, EdS, NCSP, BCBA as she brings school leaders together to share experiences, collaborate, and grow their skillset in developing appropriate individualized responses plans that focus on prevention and effective responses to dangerous behaviors.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage w/ other leaders about their experiences and needs relating to the implementation of recent state regulations pertaining to dangerous behavior. This workshop, applicable to school leaders at the elementary and secondary levels, will provide participants with information and skills to better understand behavior. To improve development and appropriateness of individualized response plans, participants will learn to identify & analyze challenging routines which have resulted in dangerous behaviors. Analyzing challenging routines will assist school leaders in identifying factors that lead to dangerous behavior and preventative supports to put into place.
